Our FUNraising programs are a WIN-WIN for everyone, we do most all of the work, your supporters experience a wonderful vacation, filled with unforgettable memories and your organization receives the funds you need.

Why do so many organizations love our FUNraisers? Well, besides the money they earn, it is because they require very little work and little to no cost.
Tradewind Adventures and Travel™ offers two different FUNraising Programs. The first is our Travel Together Group FUNraiser and the second is out Ongoing Donation Program.
Travel Together Group FUNraiser
With Travel Together Group FUNraiser, your organization will team up with one of our highly trained Personal Planners. They will work with your organization to pick the perfect itinerary, sailing and dates to travel for your group and discuss all best options to then design your perfect, custom event.
From there your Personal Planner will create your organizations very own custom webpage for you to share with your members and contributors. They will also design flyers and / or postcards for you to have printed and send out (this is optional and at your organizations request and expense.)
From there you simply share the great news of your upcoming event. Your Personal Planner will handle all the rest, from your members travel arrangements, processing reservations and payments, answering questions and making sure everyone has the correct documents, to arranging special activities and events during your trip. It’s that easy.
How Many People Do We Need? Travel Together Group FUNraisers are more fun and more profitable the more people you have participating, but depending on the cruise line, as few as 16 passengers in 8 rooms generally qualify for the program.
How Much Can be Raised? It can range from $25 to $600 per room* in your group.
The exact donation amount is based on:
The cruise line used
Length of itinerary (i.e. a 14 night cruise would have a much higher donation amount than a 3 night cruise)
The time of travel (off-peak cruises may earn more than on-peak cruises)
These factors are all discussed and taken into consideration during the planning process and your Personal Planner will help make sure you get the best available compensation.
As an example, a group that makes $500 per room for the charity with 20 rooms (40 passengers) traveled would be a $10,000 total donation.*
What Costs are Involved? As I mentioned earlier, in most cases there is no cost to your organization. If your group chooses to print out flyers or postcards, the printing and postage would be at your expense. Also, if you choose to provide any extra amenities or activities those may involve a fee.
In some cases, where we would be blocking a large number of staterooms at your organizations’ request, there may be a FULLY REFUNDABLE $50 per cabin (or per person, depending on the supplier) required by the supplier when we reserve your group. Your Personal Planner would let you know about this in advance and work with you to work out options.
What’s the “Catch”? There really is no “catch.” With Tradewind Adventures and Travel™ Travel Together FUNraisiers there is little or no financial risk to your organization and the success of the group is ultimately up you and the organization. The more you promote the event and the more supporter that participate, the more money we can help you raise.
Again we will provide your organization with your own customized web page for your group, perfectly designed for sharing on social media. We can also create customized flyers, postcards or newsletter materials etc, for you to use in your email blasts, newsletters or post on your website or social media, mail out or however you need to get the word out.
Ongoing Donation Program
Organizations can contact us to setup a customized donation program. We create a customized web page just for their group that they can link to from their own website, Facebook page, Twitter, newsletters, email blasts, etc. When a supporter calls us to book travel, they simply mention the non-profit organization that referred them during their initial call, and we make a donation to the charity after their travel is completed. We send out checks once every quarter, for all travel completed in the past 3 months.

Your Personal Planner will also help to make the experience easy for not only the event organizer but for everyone! From custom planning websites, custom marketing materials, simplified reservation and payment systems to private onboard events, customized private excursions, or added amenities, they will help make your event great.
Your Personal Planner can also help you create a Cruise Night to help promote your group, as well as a document party for passing out documents, going over travel details and packing tips. Your Personal Planner is also only a phone call or email away during your event if you have any problems or questions and depending on the size of your group, they may even accompany you to port to see your group off or for larger groups, travel on-board with you to make sure everything runs smoothly.

*Note: Non-Profit Organizations who would like to be considered tax-exempt must be able to provide us with a copy of your 501(c). Any organization that does not have tax-exempt status will need to fill out a W-9 and will be issued a 1099-MISC.
